Job Description
About the Role :
As the Manager – Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the Fund and AMC entities. The role requires strong expertise in fund accounting, taxation, audits, and regulatory reporting, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely financial reporting, seamless audit execution, investor distributions, and adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance :
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of:
- Income Tax returns
- GST returns
- TDS compliances
- PF and other statutory filings
- Handle tax notices, scrutiny assessments, and regulatory queries.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for advisory, tax planning, and litigation management.
- Support efficient tax structuring and compliance optimization across entities.
2. Audit & Financial Reporting :
- Lead and manage statutory, internal, and IFRS audits across fund and AMC entities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, fund reports, and MIS dashboards.
- Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation and reconciliations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes to improve accuracy and timeliness.
- Support management with analytical insights, budgeting, and financial performance reporting.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Filings :
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary and external advisors on regulatory compliances.
- Oversee SEBI, RBI, and MCA-related filings, including:
- Form 64
- Form 64D / 64C
- Form 61B
- FLA Returns
- Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely submission of all regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in tax, corporate, and fund regulations, and proactively advise management on implications.
4. Fund Operations & Finance Management :
- Support fund accounting activities, investor distributions, and expense allocations.
- Manage payment processes, vendor onboarding, and operational finance workflows.
- Assist in new fund setup activities and coordination related to legal and finance matters.
- Handle ad-hoc finance and operational projects as required.
