This role goes beyond accounting and reporting. You’ll be responsible for ensuring financial clarity, discipline, and foresight across the business. From managing cash flow to influencing strategic decisions, your role sits at the core of how the company operates and grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk proactively
- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and performance insights
- Drive cost optimization and identify opportunities for improving financial efficiency
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and regulatory standards
- Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis
- Monitor key financial metrics and flag risks or deviations early
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and consultants
- Build and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Proficiency in tools like Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work closely with business teams and translate numbers into insights
- High ownership and attention to detail
