Job Description: Finance Manager – Accounts Receivable (AR)About OnGrid

🔹 Role Overview
We are looking for a
Finance Manager – Accounts Receivable who will take ownership of the AR function, drive collections, manage client relationships, and lead a small team to ensure strong cash flow and process efficiency.
🔹 Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) function including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Supervise and mentor a team of 3–5 members, ensuring productivity and process adherence
- Review and approve client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch
- Drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables (DSO)
- Act as a client-facing SPOC for escalations, billing disputes, and payment negotiations
- Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams for seamless billing and collections
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Maintain and review accounting entries in ZOHO Books and ensure accurate MIS reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability
🔹 Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing / Collections
- Strong expertise in invoicing, collections, and AR reconciliation
- Proven experience in team handling (3–5 members)
- Strong client-facing experience with negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience with accounting tools like ZOHO Books or similar ERP systems
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

- Location: Gurgaon (Gurugram)
- Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 days working)
