Role Purpose :
To support plant finance operations including accounting, reporting, compliance, and coordination with manufacturing teams for accurate financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Accounting & Closure
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closure
- Pass journal entries, provisions, and accruals
- Ensure accuracy of ledger postings and reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of financial schedules
2. Expense Monitoring (Opex Control)
- Track plant expenses and validate supporting documents
- Monitor budget vs actual and highlight deviations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for expense inputs
3. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare plant MIS and periodic reports
- Assist in variance analysis and management reporting
- Support data preparation for review with plant/site leadership
4. Compliance & Audit
- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, TDS, etc.
- Provide required data/documentation to auditors
5. Manufacturing Finance Exposure
- Work closely with production & stores teams for financial data validation
- Assist in inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and basic analysis
- Support process improvement and financial control initiatives
Key Skills
- Strong Accounting & Financial Reporting knowledge
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GST, TDS & compliance
- Good Excel & analytical skills
- Strong coordination & communication
