We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically sharp Management trainee/Junior Analyst with approximately 1 – 2 years of experience to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a young professional holding a CA, CMA (ICWA), or an MBA in Finance & Systems from a Tier-2 institution who wants to be at the intersection of core finance, strategic data analysis, and modern financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Core Accounting & Costing: Apply strong fundamentals in financial accounting and cost accounting to analyze product/service margins, evaluate cost centers, and support month-end closing reviews.
- Advanced Data Management: Use advanced Excel functions to manipulate large datasets, clean operational data, and create streamlined, error-free financial report
- Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build, maintain, and update dynamic financial models to support business forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Act as a tech-savvy bridge between Finance and IT. Assist in Implementing, managing, auditing, and/or optimizing modern SAAS based ERP systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Support strategic and operational finance projects
- Assist in process documentation and internal control
Technical Skills
- Financial & Cost Accounting: Solid theoretical and practical grasp of Accounting principles, Ledger constructs, financial statements, variance analysis, standard costing, and inventory valuation frameworks.
- Expert Excel Skills: Deep comfort with advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested loops), Pivot Tables, data validation, and basic macro/VBA automation or Power Query.
- System Savviness: High tech-adaptability for implementing modern SAAS based ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Epicor etc) and a strong interest in business process automation.
