Job Title: Finance Lead / Finance Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Finance Lead / Manager to independently own and manage the company’s finance function. This is a high-ownership role involving end-to-end accounting, financial controls, compliance, MIS reporting, cash flow planning, and strategic financial support to leadership.
The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership and operations teams, with full visibility into business decisions, project-level profitability, and cross-vertical financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Control
- Own end-to-end accounting across all business revenue streams
- Ensure audit-ready books, monthly closures, reconciliations, and clean ledgers
- Build and enforce robust internal financial controls
2. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements
- Deliver MIS reports with variance analysis and actionable insights
- Track receivables, project profitability, and vertical-wise margins
3. Compliance & Taxation
- Manage GST, TDS, advance tax, and corporate tax compliance
- Handle payroll taxation, PF/ESI, and statutory deductions
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Manage AR/AP, collections, vendor payments, and ageing analysis
- Build rolling cash flow forecasts across projects and revenue streams
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions

5. Process Building & Systems
- Strengthen finance workflows on Zoho Books / Tally
- Define finance SOPs and improve reporting systems
- Coordinate with HR, sales, and operations for budgeting and cost approvals
Required Qualifications
- CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com
- 6–10 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience
- 2–3 years in an independent or leadership finance role
- Experience in startups, SMEs, consulting, or growth-stage businesses preferred
- Exposure to project-based billing / multi-entity / service-sector finance is a plus
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, corporate tax, PF/ESI, payroll compliance
- Strong expertise in financial reporting & MIS preparation
- Proficiency in Zoho Books / Tally / Excel (financial modelling, pivots, analysis)
- Familiarity with payroll systems and statutory portals
- Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication with founders, auditors, and consultants
