Ltd., we are in an active growth phase and are building a sharp, execution-oriented finance team to support scalable business operations across procurement, supply chain, and commerce.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Intern to support day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, vendor management, and finance operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to finance processes in a fast-paced B2B FMCG startup environment.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and eager to learn operational finance, accounting workflows, and supply chain finance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries in Tally or similar ERP systems
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Assist in petty cash management and expense tracking
- Reconciliation & Financial Operations:
- Perform vendor invoice reconciliation and purchase order matching
- Support bank reconciliation and accounts payable reconciliations
- Track and reconcile daily purchases, inward entries, and cost prices
- Match daily inbounds and GRNs with procurement records
- Vendor & Payment Management:
- Perform 3-way matching (PO vs GRN vs Vendor Invoice) before payment processing
- Identify and flag mismatches or discrepancies for resolution
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for invoice clarifications and adjustments
- Support weekly last-mile delivery payable reconciliations
- Debit Notes & Margin Tracking:
- Raise Debit Notes (DNs) for damaged, short, or rejected goods identified during QC checks
- Ensure timely sharing of DNs with vendors for adjustment and reconciliation
- Maintain SKU-wise daily margin tracking and reporting
- Reporting & Finance Support:
- Prepare and maintain finance trackers and reconciliation reports
- Support finance and operations teams with day-to-day reporting requirements
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned finance activities
What We’re Looking For
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or equivalent qualification
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance operations
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Basic understanding of GST and invoice processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
