Job Summary**
VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance department with various tasks and projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate finance within a global automotive technology company.
Job Responsibilities**
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and general ledger entries.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analyses.
- Conduct basic research on financial topics and industry trends.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other finance team members on special projects and initiatives.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department's operations.
- Learn and apply company financial policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications**
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
