Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Finance Intern. The Finance Intern will support the finance team with daily tasks such as assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, organizing accounting records, and helping with internal financial reports. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributing to basic cost and revenue analyses for projects. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business performance, communicate findings clearly, and help maintain accurate financial documentation and compliance with internal policies. The role offers hands-on experience with finance operations in a technology-focused business environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance, including basic concepts of budgeting, forecasting, and corporate finance.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and accurate record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial insights clearly and collaborate with team members.
- Relevant coursework or progress toward a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Excel or similar software) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and show attention to detail is required.
