About the role :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team.
This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of finance,
including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The ideal
candidate is passionate about finance, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to real-world
projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including gathering and analyzing financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Aid in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting and organizing relevant data, and assisting in the creation of financial models.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects to support the company’s financial goals and initiatives.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and networking events to gain exposure to different aspects of finance and develop professional skills.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
