Access Life Assistance Foundation is an Indian not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing multidisciplinary supportive care to families of children undergoing cancer treatment. Established in June 2014, the organization has grown to 11 centers across cities including Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Manipal, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Madurai, with new centers coming soon in Silchar Assam and Noida. These centers have supported over 3,000 underprivileged children with cancer and their families, offering a home-like environment during treatment periods of 5-12 months or longer. In addition to housing, Access Life provides psychological and social care, nutritional support, educational resources, safe transportation to hospitals, and recreational programs for families from remote areas seeking medical treatment for their children.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, for a Finance Head at Access Life Assistance Foundation. The Finance Head will oversee and manage the organization's financial operations, including preparing financial statements, budgeting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires expert analysis of financial data to support informed decision-making, implementing effective financial strategies, maintaining compliance with regulations, and optimizing resource allocation to align with the organization’s objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
- Proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and allocate resources efficiently
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven experience managing financial operations in a non-profit or similar sector is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the non-profit or charity sector is highly desirable
