Cost Accountant — hiring for Finance Executive (costing experience mandatory). Location: India | Workplace: On-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost sheets, product/job costing and unit-level cost structures to support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and investigate drivers; recommend corrective actions to control costs.
- Reconcile inventory balances, perform inventory valuation and maintain stock cost records to ensure accurate month-end close.
- Support month-end and year-end cost accounting close activities, ensuring timely delivery of MIS and management reports.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement and production teams to implement standard costing, cost allocation and process improvements.
- Maintain costing schedules in ERP and prepare ad-hoc costing analysis for leadership and pricing exercises.
