Company Description Rathi Lifespaces is a forward-looking real estate company headquartered in Mumbai, built on decades of experience in construction, infrastructure, and material supply. J B Food & Stuffs is a sister company dealing in the business of wholesaling and retailing of premium imported fast moving consumer goods specialising in food and beverages.
Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking accounts payable and receivable, assisting with bank reconciliations and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost tracking and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. This is a full-time role based in Ghatkopar.
Budget - 30K/Month
Qualifications
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including practical experience in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software Tally and solid skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
