Role Description
We are currently looking to hire an experienced, highly autonomous Finance & Compliance Executive to serve as the operational "Anchor" for our financial and statutory operations. The ideal candidate will completely own our end-to-end accounting pipeline, ensuring absolute compliance with Indian corporate laws while maintaining rigorous financial precision and managing key corporate banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance & MCA Filings: Independently handle the preparation, verification, and filing of annual corporate secretarial data and statutory forms (including AOC-4 and MGT-7) via the MCA Portal with zero delays or penalties.
- Deep Tax Compliance: Own the end-to-end preparation and timely filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (including section-by-section reconciliation of B2B/B2C sales and credit/debit notes for GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B) and structured Corporate Income Tax/TDS returns.
- Banking Relationships & Fund Flow: Manage and strengthen day-to-day corporate banking relationships, oversee cash flow optimization, coordinate fund placement, and handle banking documentation or queries with total autonomy.
- Audit & Finalization: Maintain impeccable ledger entries and bank reconciliations in Tally Prime, executing the end-to-end finalization of financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L accounts) for statutory and tax audits.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Demonstrate clear communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and seamlessly manage local office administrative requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven Experience: 2–4 years of hardcore experience in Core Corporate Accounting or Tax Compliance. Prior experience in a CA Firm (Audit/Taxation) or handling compliance for an IT/Software business is strongly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Hands-on proficiency with the MCA Portal, GST portal, and Income Tax filing portals. Advanced expertise in Tally Prime and MS Excel (Pivots, lookups, and data-cleaning matrices) is mandatory.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical muscle with an uncompromising attention to detail—someone who treats regulatory deadlines and technical accuracy as non-negotiable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the mature, "solution-first" mindset needed to handle administrative bottlenecks independently.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates who have a solid, practical foundation built in a Chartered Accountant firm or a compliance-heavy corporate environment will be highly preferred. A thorough, up-to-date understanding of the following domains is required: MCA/ROC Filings, GST, Income Tax (including corporate TDS), Professional Tax, Corporate Banking, and Year-End Audit Finalization.
