Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Executive role based in Hamirpur. The Finance Executive will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. The role includes monitoring budgets, tracking income and expenses for various farmer groups and projects, and supporting financial planning for ongoing and new initiatives. The Finance Executive will handle statutory compliance activities, including GST-related work, coordination with auditors, and adherence to financial regulations and organizational policies. The role will also support financial data analysis for decision-making, assist in preparing reports for management and stakeholders, and collaborate with field and program teams to ensure accurate, timely financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with practical experience in handling Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, monitor budgets, and support decision-making.
- Working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, returns, and related documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel for bookkeeping, reconciliations, and report preparation.
- Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with rural and field teams; prior experience in agriculture, rural development, or producer companies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with diverse stakeholders, including women farmers and community representatives.
