Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation.
- Process vendor payments, influencer payouts, and employee reimbursements within defined timelines.
- Generate client invoices and ensure timely sharing with brands/agencies.
- Track receivables and follow up for pending payments.
- Assist in maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Handle bank reconciliations and payment verifications regularly.
- Maintain proper records of GST, TDS, invoices, and other compliance-related documents.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Influencer & Vendor Payment Management
- Coordinate with the Campaign Management and Pricing teams for influencer payout details.
- Verify deliverables, commercial approvals, and payment terms before processing payouts.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlements for creators, agencies, and vendors.
- Maintain payout trackers and payment status reports.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Maintain campaign-wise profitability and cost tracking reports.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense analysis.
- Generate reports related to outstanding payments, revenue tracking, and operational expenses.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal approval processes.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, payment proofs, and taxation documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and finance vendors when required.
- Assist in GST filings, TDS working, and other statutory compliance activities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with the Revenue, Planning, Pricing, HR, and Campaign teams for smooth financial operations.
- Coordinate with external agencies, creators, and vendors regarding payment queries and documentation.
- Support leadership with financial data and operational insights whenever required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance/accounting operations.
- Prior experience in an influencer marketing agency, advertising agency, media company, startup, or digital marketing environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
