JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
Finance & Reporting:
- Support the monthly closure of books by ensuring timely and accurate preparation of workings for expense accruals, GR/IR accruals, payroll provisions, etc. thereby enabling timely submission of financial results to global finance for consolidation.
- Support in conducting analysis of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements; highlight key variances with clear explanations to global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the BPO partner (Accenture) on accounting and reporting matters, providing guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support in preparation of statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures, with assistance from the BPO team.
Accounts Payable:
- Reviewing the payment proposal as prepared by the BPO and approving the same
- Critically evaluating the ad hoc payment requests from Business Team around Advances, Holding payments, etc. and communicating to the BPO for payment processing
- Managing Import Payment – Providing data to consultant for Form 15CB, Form 15CA, Form A2, Advising BPO for processing import payments from EEFC account
- Statutory Payments: Uploading Challans and Payments for GST, TDS, TCS, Advance Tax, ESIC, Provident Fund and Professional Tax
Treasury Management:
- Reviewing the Bank Balances and advising the Treasury Team for Investments
- Reviewing INR and Foreign Currency Bank Balances for projected payout and collections and advising the key stakeholders
Statutory Compliances:
- GST Compliance: Providing data to the consultant for preparation of GST returns and reviewing the returns before submission
- TDS & TCS Returns: Providing data to the consultant for preparation of TDS & TCS returns and reviewing the returns before submission
Audit & Governance:
- Supporting Statutory and Internal Audits
- Supporting Tax Audits and Assessments
- Supporting various other regulatory compliances
Strategic & Corporate Projects:
- Support on Key Strategic and Corporate Projects enabling the Global Finance Initiatives in India
Profile
- Qualification – Masters or Graduation in Commerce with experience in Finance & Reporting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Statutory Compliances, Audit & Governance and Corporate Projects
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in relevant industry and profiles. Mix of CA Firm & Industry Experience preferred.
- Working Knowledge of SAP is a must
- Working Knowledge of IFRS, Ind AS, & Indian GAAP is appreciated
- Work experience in MNC companies in similar industries will be preferred. (Chemical / Textile Chemical companies)
- Good communication skill Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
