Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Data Lead to oversee the development of automated data workflows, advanced reporting capabilities, and high‑quality financial insights. In this leadership role, you’ll guide analytics initiatives, streamline data operations, and partner closely with finance stakeholders to deliver accurate, efficient, and scalable reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and automation of ETL workflows using Alteryx and KNIME to support financial data operations
- Oversee development and optimization of SQL queries in Snowflake and Databricks to enable robust analysis and reporting
- Manage the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting assets aligned with financial and business requirements
- Integrate real‑time Snowflake data sources with Power BI for enhanced visibility and performance monitoring
- Partner with finance teams to understand reporting needs and transform them into sustainable technical solutions
- Collaborate with master data teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance across systems
- Establish and maintain documentation for workflows, processes, and technical specifications
- Identify automation opportunities and drive improvements in financial data processes and reporting efficiency
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for data pipelines, reporting issues, and data integrity challenges
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in financial data analytics, reporting, or similar fields
- Strong hands‑on experience with Alteryx and/or KNIME
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly within Snowflake or Databricks environments
- Deep expertise with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Ability to lead multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or professional certification in finance, analytics, or related specialties
- Working knowledge of financial concepts such as P&L, balance sheet structure, and cost center reporting
- Experience with master data platforms (MDM, S4, MDS) and data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud‑based data ecosystems and API integrations
- Experience working with global and cross‑functional teams
