Role Brief:
We are looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Associate – Finance to join our team. Unlike traditional accounting roles, this position is heavily focused on financial operations, data management, and process automation.
Your primary responsibility will be to build, operate, and maintain the Excel-based infrastructure that powers our core financial workflows - including revenue calculations, contracting data, and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Operations & Excel Infrastructure
- Manage, build, and operate large financial datasets to ensure clean, accurate, and structured financial information.
- Design and maintain robust Excel models and templates that serve as the foundation for daily financial operations.
- Automate manual processes within Excel to improve speed, eliminate human error, and scale financial workflows.
2. Revenue, Invoicing & Contracting Support
- Own the revenue calculation engine, ensuring complex pricing models and revenue recognition rules are accurately mapped in Excel.
- Bridge the gap between contracting and invoicing by tracking contract terms, milestones, and financial deliverables within master datasets.
- Generate and validate data inputs required for accurate client invoicing based on operational metrics.
3. Financial Insights & Reporting
- Analyze large volumes of financial data to identify trends, variances, and operational bottlenecks.
- Build dynamic dashboards and trackers to give management real-time visibility into revenue and billing pipelines.
Expertise and Qualifications
MBA in Finance or Business Analytics (Fresher)
Requirement:
- Advanced MS Excel Skills (Non-Negotiable): You must be highly proficient in functions like XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Formulas, and Data Validation. Familiarity with VBA/Macros is a significant advantage.
- Data Comfort: Proven ability to handle, clean, and manipulate large, messy datasets without breaking formulas.
- Process-Oriented Mindset: Ability to understand a business process (like a contract or a billing cycle) and translate it into a logical spreadsheet workflow.
