Designation: Finance cum Claims Executive

Role Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage both Finance and Claims functions. The candidate will be responsible for accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliation, statutory compliance, and claim liability management in coordination with reinsurers and cedent companies.
Key Responsibilities:Finance & Accounting Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate calculation and recording of premiums for all active treaty IDs on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and record accounting journal entries in SAP or relevant accounting systems.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper financial documentation.
- Report premiums collected through banks/payment gateways to Operations for timely policy issuance.
- Verify and process expense invoices within due timelines.
- Deduct TDS as applicable and ensure GST and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely filing of MPR, TDS returns, GST returns, and other regulatory filings.
Claims Responsibilities:- Accurately book claim liabilities as per treaty conditions in the reinsurer’s system.
- Pass necessary adjustment entries for differential amounts.
- Liaise with reinsurers to resolve claim-related queries.
- Upload and maintain complete claim documentation for audit purposes.
- Review Premium and Claims Bordereaux and verify treaty-based calculations.
- Reconcile reinsurer data with cedent records and identify mismatches or discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate client servicing as per agreed timelines.
Eligibility Criteria:- Experience: Fresher or up to 2 years of relevant experience (Finance / Insurance / Reinsurance domain preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Commerce background preferred).
- Skills Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced preferred)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Knowledge of SAP or similar systems will be an added advantage
Compensation:Salary will be based on interview performance. There is no bar for deserving candidates.
