We are looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to build strong financial foundations as we scale toward IPO readiness. This role is ideal for someone who has helped fast-growing startups bring discipline to accounting, reporting, and controls, and who wants to play a key role in preparing the company for public markets.

You will own day-to-day finance operations today and gradually lead IPO readiness and public-company level compliance over time.

Requirements

Core Finance & Accounting

Own end-to-end accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting.
Ensure accurate books in line with Ind AS / IFRS.
Manage audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
Oversee revenue recognition, expenses, payroll, ESOP accounting, and vendor payments.

Controls & Scale

Set up strong financial controls, policies, and SOPs suitable for a scaling startup.
Improve processes, systems, and automation (ERP, reporting tools).
Partner with business teams to bring financial discipline without slowing growth.

IPO & Growth Readiness

Support CFO in IPO planning and readiness (financial statements, controls, documentation).
Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and advisors during due diligence.
Help prepare financial data for investors, Board, and future regulators.
Ensure the company is “audit-ready” always.

What We’re Looking For

Chartered Accountant (CA) or master’s degree in commerce mandatory.
8-14 years of experience in controller ship, audit, or startup finance.
Experience in startup, high-growth, or pre-IPO environments preferred.
Exposure to IPOs, fundraising is a strong plus.
Strong ownership mindset and comfort working hands-on.
