Role Description
The Finance Associate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s financial operations, billing systems, cash flow tracking, budgeting, compliance coordination, vendor payouts, reimbursements, MIS reporting, and revenue management processes.
The role requires strong ownership, operational efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate closely with leadership, operations, HR, consultants, vendors, and external accountants to ensure smooth financial functioning and reporting accuracy across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of monthly billing sheets with high accuracy, ensuring timely invoice generation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- End-to-end client invoicing management including invoice preparation, verification, revenue tracking, and coordination with operational teams.
- Managing vendor payouts, consultant payments, reimbursements, and internal financial disbursements as per company protocols and approval structures.
- Preparation, validation, and submission of TDS reports and supporting compliance documentation to accountants and compliance partners.
- Maintaining accurate records of organizational revenue streams, operational expenses, reimbursements, financial transactions, and cash movement.
- Developing and maintaining MIS reports, financial dashboards, trackers, cash flow reports, and operational finance summaries for leadership review.
- Preparing monthly financial forecasts, projections, budgeting reports, and expense estimations to support strategic planning and operational scalability.
- Strengthening collection efficiency through systematic payment follow-ups, receivable tracking, client coordination, and reminder systems.
- Monitoring departmental spending patterns and ensuring teams function within approved budgets through continuous budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Coordinating with HR, operations, vendors, consultants, external accountants, and management stakeholders for smooth financial operations and closures.
- Supporting financial discipline, compliance adherence, process optimization, operational budgeting, and audit readiness across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of billing systems, invoicing, budgeting, financial operations, cash flow management, and MIS reporting.
- Basic understanding of finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and financial/accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
Prior experience in finance operations, accounting, or finance management roles is preferred.
