Role Overview
At ULOOK, we are building cutting edge spacetech systems for the future of aerospace and defence. We are looking for a Finance Associate who thrives in high growth environments and wants to play a key role in building scalable finance operations from the ground up.
You will work directly with founders and leadership across financial planning, reporting, compliance, and business operations while contributing to the growth of a rapidly scaling deep-tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping activities
- Support monthly financial closing activities and preparation of reports such as P&L, cash flow, MIS, and expense analysis
- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, customer collections, and financial documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems with high attention to detail
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and external partners for compliance and reporting requirements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking operational and project-related expenses
- Review contracts, invoices, and financial transactions from a finance and compliance perspective
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making
- Identify process gaps and contribute to improving finance workflows, reporting systems, and operational efficiency
- Support implementation of finance processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives as the company scales
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, statutory filings, and company financial policies
- Take ownership of ad-hoc finance and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CA/CMA pursuing candidates can also apply
- 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business finance roles
- Experience working in startups, SaaS, deep-tech, aerospace, or high-growth environments is an advantage
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business finance processes
- Proficiency in accounting platforms such as Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and take initiative
- Comfortable collaborating across operations, leadership, and external finance partners
