Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to lead Operations, Compliance, HR, Cost Optimisation, and IT functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational excellence, people management, regulatory and statutory compliance, financial coordination, and IT operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day business activities while driving process improvements and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day business operations and administrative activities.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes and SOPs.
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal governance standards.
- Lead ISO documentation, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain compliance records, policies, and audit documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Work closely with legal and leadership teams on corporate compliance matters.
HR Management
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding, while ensuring a positive workplace culture.
- Implement HR policies, oversee HRMS platforms (Keka, GreytHR, or similar), and manage payroll inputs, attendance, leave administration, and employee records.
- Lead and mentor HR and Operations teams, driving performance, accountability, workforce planning, and resource allocation
Cost Optimisation Operations
- Coordinate payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Manage vendor payments, invoices, purchase orders, and expense tracking.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor operational budgets, optimize business expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards
IT Operations
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the availability, security, and smooth functioning of IT systems, infrastructure, and business applications.
- Manage IT assets, user access, email administration, software licensing, and onboarding/offboarding IT requirements in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, cybersecurity best practices, and information security standards, including support for ISO and internal audits.
- Coordinate with IT service providers to resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and drive continuous improvements in IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, Commerce, or MBA in HR, Operations, Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in Operations, Compliance, Finance, and HR
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR practices, and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing ISO compliance and internal audits is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms like Keka
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, budgeting, and financial administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience
- 5 years of experience in Operations, HR, Compliance, and Finance, preferably in a startup, technology, or fast-paced business environment.
- Hands-on experience with ISO compliance, internal audits, statutory compliance, and policy implementation.
- Experience managing HRMS platforms in Keka, payroll coordination, and the complete employee lifecycle. Proven experience in people management, vendor management, budgeting, process improvement, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
