We’re looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Executive to join our team in Mumbai.
Are you interested in being part of a company with an international setting? We work with international brands (Electrolux, Toyota) as well as many large Scandinavian clients in creating websites and applications involving thousands of users.
As a Finance and Accounting Executive, you will be working in our office in Mumbai. You will be solely responsible for the finance related work within the Indian branch of Bombayworks, and will be working closely with our Managing Director in Mumbai, our Finance Controller, and CEO in Sweden, as well as with our open and helpful colleagues in the Mumbai office. This role involves hands-on execution across accounting, reporting, taxation, payroll, banking, legal coordination, and vendor management.
As a person, you have a genuine interest in Finance and Accounting. You are highly self motivated and responsible, making sure your commitments are delivered flawlessly with great attention to detail. Furthermore, you can communicate with people from non-financial backgrounds, as well as present analyzed reports to the management group in a clear and understandable manner. As a person you are very pro-active, making sure that all aspects in your job are covered, as well as always improving the way we work by bringing new ideas to the table.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum five years experience of Financial work. Preferably for an international company.
- Expert in keeping track of financial transactions, preparing financial plans, reviewing statements and accounting, as well as handling tax related work.
- Experience working with auditors.
- Extreme attention to details in all tasks at hand.
- Fluent English in both writing and speech.
- Handling monthly and annual accounts as well as preparing annual reports.
- Be able to handle the entire payroll process.
- Experience in Transfer Pricing, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Experience of following internal and external regulations and keeping up to date on news.
- Knowledge of IFRS would be a big plus
- Preparing monthly Management Information System reports, creating annual budgets and performing variance analysis for the management team.
- Coordinating with the external CS ensuring all Companies Act and FEMA compliances.

- Working experience with Tally Prime
- Proficient with advanced excel

- Handling payroll
- IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of statutory requirements under Labour laws
- Working experience with G-suite
