THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Fintech Analyst to support our payments and financial technology function. In this role, you will analyze payment data, commercial structures, partner performance, and settlements to support business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze payment transactions, MDRs, interchange fees, rolling reserves, and settlements
- Track and report transaction volumes, revenues, margins, chargebacks, and refunds
- Prepare MIS, dashboards, and periodic reports for internal stakeholders
- Support commercial analysis for merchant pricing, payment partner rates, and revenue sharing
- Identify discrepancies in settlements and coordinate resolution with banks, gateways, and internal teams
- Assist with onboarding analysis for merchants, MIDs, and payment integrations
- Support month-end closures, reconciliations, and audit requirements
- Collaborate closely with payments, operations, finance, and product teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- Part-qualified CA/ACCA/CPA or MBA
