Note: This is a requirement for one of the Workassist Hiring Partner.
Primary Responsibility
Support financial reporting activities with a focus on IND AS implementation, reconciliations, and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reconciliations between IGAAP and IND AS.
- Support the implementation of IND AS across financial reporting processes.
- Assist in first-time adoption and conversion from IGAAP to IND AS.
- Ensure accurate application of accounting standards in financial statements, notes, and disclosures.
- Manage end-to-end monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate closure of books of accounts.
- Support preparation for quarterly limited reviews and year-end statutory audits.
- Assist in internal audits, IFC (Internal Financial Controls) audits, and audits initiated by the Group or external stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications (optional addition for completeness)
- Strong understanding of IGAAP and IND AS accounting standards.
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
