Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru for a Finance Accounting Manager. The responsibilities include managing financial reporting, overseeing budgeting, preparing financial statements, and analyzing company financial data to guide decision-making. The role also involves ensuring accurate compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and preparing financial insights for stakeholders to support strategic planning and operations.
- Define and drive the company’s financial strategy, aligning with business goals to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; monitor performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee complete accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
- Supervise end-to-end corporate invoicing processes, ensuring accurate billing, timely invoice generation, and proper revenue tracking.
- Ensure strong follow-up on receivables, track pre- and post-payment status, minimize outstanding dues, and improve cash inflow cycles.
- Manage vendor payments, ensure timely disbursements, maintain payment schedules, and build strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain complete oversight of all financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory regulations; manage audits and regulatory filings efficiently.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure sufficient liquidity for smooth business operations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team; implement structured processes, automation, and controls to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring salaries are credited on time without errors.
- Manage employee reimbursements including travel, conveyance, and other claims with proper validation and timely payouts.
- Process performance-based incentives, bonuses, and commissions accurately.
- Ensure secure and timely salary transfers, maintaining proper approvals and banking controls.
- Maintain proper payroll records, ensure audit readiness, and handle employee salary data with strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
- Strong Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data
- Familiarity with accounting principles and relevant laws and regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial software and tools is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA/CA are a plus
- Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally in a leadership capacity
