Role Description
This is an on-site internship role located in the Greater Chennai Area for a Finance Accounting Intern. The intern will assist in preparing, analyzing, and maintaining financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include working with accounting software, supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations, conducting financial analysis, and assisting in audits or report preparations as required. Additionally, the role emphasizes effective communication and collaboration with various teams to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and strong grasp of basic Finance principles
- Analytical Skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Familiarity with Accounting Software and relevant tools
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of microfinance or lending practices is an added advantage
