About Go Garage
Go Garage is a rapidly growing multi-brand automobile service startup transforming the vehicle service
experience through technology, operational excellence, and standardized service quality. We operate companyowned and partner garages across multiple cities and are expanding aggressively through new branches and franchise partnerships.
We are looking for a Finance Manager who can build scalable financial systems, drive profitability across
locations, and support our expansion journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Business Finance
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Develop branch-wise and company-wide financial models.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Support strategic decisions with financial analysis and scenario planning.
2. Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and General Ledger.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
3. Business Expansion & Franchise Finance
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for new garage locations.
- Prepare investment analysis and ROI calculations for expansion projects.
- Develop franchise financial models, commercial structures, and unit economics.
- Analyze break-even, payback period, and profitability for new branches.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence as required.
4. Branch-wise P&L Management
- Prepare and monitor monthly Profit & Loss statements for each garage.
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA by branch.
- Track key business metrics, including :
o Revenue per branch
o Labour revenue
o Spare parts margin
- Recommend actions to improve branch profitability.
5. Garage Profitability & Cost Control
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across operations.
- Monitor labour cost, rent, utilities, consumables, and overheads.
- Conduct profitability analysis for each service category.
- Improve operational efficiency through financial controls.
- Establish branch-wise financial KPIs and review performance regularly.
6. Inventory & Working Capital Management
- Monitor spare parts inventory across all branches.
- Reduce inventory aging and stock losses.
- Ensure inventory reconciliation between ERP and physical stock.
- Optimize procurement costs and vendor payment cycles.
- Improve inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.
7. MIS & Business Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Create dashboards for :
o Sales
o Revenue
o Branch performance
o Cash flow
o Inventory
o Profitability
- Automate reports using Excel, Power BI, or ERP tools.
8. Leadership & Process Improvement
- Build strong financial controls across all branches.
- Improve SOPs and financial processes.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Procurement, and Business Development teams.
- Mentor and develop the finance team.
- Drive automation and digital transformation within finance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- MBA (Finance), CMA, or M.Com may also be considered with relevant experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Mandatory experience in a B2C business and startup environment.
- Experience in retail, automobile service, mobility, automotive aftermarket, e-commerce, or multilocation
businesses will be preferred.
