Job Description: Senior Accountant / Accounts Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of Indian accounting practices, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain general ledger, AP, and AR records.
- Process journal entries, provisions, and accruals.
- Ensure alignment with Accounting Standards / Ind AS.
2. Reconciliation & Management
- Execute monthly bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies with vendors and customers.
- Track and report outstanding receivables and payables.
3. Taxation & Compliance (GST & TDS)
- Compute, reconcile, and assist in filing GST returns.
- Perform GSTR-2B matching and monitor ITC eligibility.
- Ensure accurate TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Prep tax audit schedules and coordinate with CA consultants.
4. Financial Closing & Audit
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and cash-flow statements.
- Finalize monthly closing, P&L schedules, and Balance Sheets.
- Coordinate with internal, statutory, and tax auditors.
- Provide documentation to ensure timely statutory completions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Com graduate; CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com is an advantage.
- Experience: 5–8 years in core Accounts & Finance.
- Software: Hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime or similar ERPs.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of Indian Tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Traits: Analytical mind, strong reconciliation skills, and strict deadline adherence.
