Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Field Technical Support Engineer. The Field Technical Support Engineer will provide on-site and remote technical support for fluid dispensing and automation systems, including installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions to minimize downtime. The engineer will collaborate closely with customers to understand process requirements, guide them on optimal system usage, and provide training on equipment operation and basic maintenance. The position also includes documenting service activities, preparing technical reports, coordinating with internal teams and OEMs for escalations, and contributing feedback for product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment and automation systems.
- Proficient Customer Support and Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for diagnosing complex technical issues, interpreting data, and recommending practical solutions.
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems, fluid handling, or industrial automation is highly desirable.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage priorities, and travel to customer sites as required.
- Comfort using digital tools for remote support, documentation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety practices and standards in industrial and manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong mechanical/electrical knowledge can apply.
