Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in NCR (Noida/Delhi/Gurugram) for a Field Services Engineer. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing LCMS and HPLC/UPLC instruments for clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and Food Testing. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service and communication.
Qualifications
- Field Service and Preventive Maintenance expertise to handle installation, repair, and maintenance of instrumentation
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
- Excellent Customer Service skills to build rapport with clients and ensure their satisfaction
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- Previous experience with LCMS, HPLC, or UPLC instruments will be an added advantage
- Comfortable to travel
Responsibilities:
• Perform service, preventative maintenance, upgrades, and installations with IQ/OQ on instruments at customer sites with minimal supervision
• Provide on-site customer repairs; responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs
• Provide adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction
• Must be proactive in resolving instrument issues before they become chronic by determining the root cause and course of action
• Stay updated on technology through appropriate training, manuals, technical bulletins, and other relevant materials
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
