Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting field-deployed hardware systems, including IoT-enabled and connected devices.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting on-site installations and service visits, ensuring device connectivity and operational reliability, performing diagnostics and repairs, and adhering to defined safety and quality standards. The role also involves providing technical support to clients, maintaining accurate service documentation, and sharing field insights to support product and system improvements.
The role requires frequent local travel and hands-on work in outdoor and industrial environments.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware systems
Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, wiring, and safety procedures
Familiarity with IoT devices, wireless systems, or field-deployed communication technologies (e.g., LoRaWAN) is a strong advantage
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical, hands-on approach
Good communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently in field environments and manage on-site challenges
Willingness to travel locally as required
Basic understanding of automation, sensors, or telemetry systems is a plus
Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related engineering field preferred
