Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Field Services Engineer for Aerial Work platform equipment - JLG anf will conduct installation, commissioning, and maintenance at customer locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, performing troubleshooting and repairs, executing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring equipment performance meets manufacturer standards. The role involves providing technical support, documenting service activities and reports, and coordinating with internal teams to arrange parts, tools, and technical resources. The Field Services Engineer will also interact directly with customers, address service requests, deliver operational guidance, and promote safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Field Service experience, including on-site equipment installation, commissioning, and service.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience in Aerial Work Platform machines
- Excellent Customer Service capabilities, including clear communication and relationship management.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with Aerial Work Platform; experience with JLG products is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools, and prepare accurate service documentation.
- Readiness to work on-site in varying field conditions, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Basic computer literacy for service reporting and use of OEM diagnostic software.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, time management skills, and willingness to travel within the region as required.
