Job Summary
Star Systems India Private Limited is seeking enthusiastic and ambitious Field Sales Trainees with an MBA in Marketing to join our dynamic sales team in Chennai. This role is ideal for fresh MBA graduates or candidates with 0-1 year of experience who are passionate about field sales, customer engagement, and building a successful career in marketing & sales. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively across cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits and in-person meetings with potential clients across multiple cities
- Identify and generate new business leads through direct sales activities
- Present and demonstrate products/services to customers using marketing concepts and techniques
- Build strong customer relationships and achieve monthly sales targets
- Apply marketing knowledge for effective pitching, objection handling, and closing deals
- Gather market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales and travel reports
- Participate in sales training and marketing strategy sessions
Requirements
- MBA in Marketing (preferred) or any Graduate / Postgraduate degree
- 0-1 year of experience in sales or marketing (Fresh MBA graduates are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Willingness to travel extensively across cities in Tamil Nadu and other states
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred)
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and ready to learn field sales techniques
