Role Description The Field Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of hospital furniture and equipment across the Pune Division in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role involves visiting hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities to present product offerings, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. Daily activities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing quotations, and following up to close sales. The specialist will manage customer relationships, coordinate with internal teams on orders and deliveries, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and market feedback. The role also includes monitoring competitor activity, participating in local marketing initiatives, and contributing to sales targets and revenue growth for the region.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to present products clearly, conduct negotiations, and build relationships with healthcare decision-makers.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain long-term client satisfaction.
- Proven Sales experience, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals in B2B or healthcare-related markets.
- Lead Generation capabilities to identify new opportunities, qualify prospects, and expand the customer base within the Pune Division.
- Sales Operations skills to manage documentation, quotations, order follow-up, and reporting through CRM or similar tools.
- Knowledge of hospital furniture and medical equipment or willingness to learn technical product details quickly.
- Ability to work independently in the field, with strong time management and territory planning skills.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel frequently within the region.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort using digital tools (email, CRM systems, spreadsheets) for communication and record-keeping.
