JOB PURPOSE:
- The Sales Support Executive is a critical enabler role that powers the efficiency and effectiveness of the Rivansys sales team. Working at the intersection of sales operations, pre-sales coordination, and client communication, this individual ensures that proposals are delivered on time, CRM data is accurate, client enquiries are handled professionally, and the sales pipeline is continually organized. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced IT consulting environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, format, and quality-check customized proposals, quotations, Statement of Work (SOW) documents, and capability decks for cybersecurity and IT consulting engagements.
- Coordinate with technical consultants and the pre-sales team to gather service scope, timelines, and pricing inputs for proposals.
- Manage and update CRM records (lead status, meeting notes, opportunity stage, deal value) to ensure pipeline data integrity.
- Respond to initial inbound sales enquiries via email, website, and LinkedIn; qualify and attend leads for closure
- Drive and Achieve monthly revenue target set by the management.
- Schedule client meetings, demos, and discovery calls for the sales and consulting team; prepare meeting agendas and post-meeting summaries.
- Maintain and update the master client database, contact directory, and sales collateral library.
- Track open proposals, follow up on pending client decisions, and escalate overdue opportunities to the Sales Manager.
- Assist in preparing monthly sales reports, pipeline dashboards, and revenue forecasts for leadership review.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure sales decks, brochures, and case studies are current and aligned with brand standards.
- Support the onboarding of new client’s post-deal closure by coordinating kick-off meetings and documentation handover to the delivery team.
- Manage procurement of sales tools, subscriptions, and coordinate vendor documentation (NDAs, MSAs, purchase orders).
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field
- Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or pre-sales coordination role in IT services or a professional services firm.
Skills
- Exceptional written and speaking English communication; ability to draft professional proposals and client-facing documents independently.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM platforms (Zoho, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail in document formatting, data entry, and communication accuracy.
- Understanding of IT services and cybersecurity product, service, and terminology
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prior experience selling IT and cybersecurity services
- Understanding of ISMS, data protection, or IT governance concepts
- Experience selling to BFSI, SaaS, or IT companies
- Experience with proposal writing and contract negotiation
- Candidate Must have Communication and Negotiation skills
