Role Description The Field Sales Representative is a Part-time, on-site role. This role involves visiting prospective and existing clients to present Petrometer - a petrol pump management software and explaining how offerings address specific business needs. The representative will generate and qualify leads, manage a sales pipeline, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms to close deals in line with company targets. Daily responsibilities include coordinating meetings, maintaining customer relationships, gathering market feedback, and reporting sales activities and forecasts to the sales manager. The role also requires collaborating with technical and marketing teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and customer satisfaction.
Location: Ernakulam/ Kochi & Bengaluru
Qualifications
- Strong field sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Experience in client relationship management, account management, and customer service in B2B environments.
- Basic understanding of software solutions, networking concepts, and IT infrastructure services, with the ability to learn technical details quickly.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex offerings in clear, accessible language.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to plan daily visits, manage time efficiently, and work with minimal supervision.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, productivity software, and mobile applications to log activities and track opportunities.
- Prior experience in technology or IT services sales is preferred; experience in the Bengaluru market is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Willingness to travel locally in respective assigned city for client meetings and site visits.
