Role Description The Field Sales Officer role is a full-time hybrid position based in Bareilly, with a mix of on-site field work and limited work-from-home responsibilities. The role involves visiting healthcare professionals, distributors, and retail partners to promote GLS products, generate demand, and strengthen brand presence in the assigned territory. The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, conducting regular follow-ups, managing orders, and ensuring timely collections. Daily activities include building and maintaining long-term business relationships, providing product information and support, gathering market insights, and reporting field activities to the sales leadership team. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth supply, resolving customer issues promptly, and participating in local marketing or promotional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Client Relations and Business Relationship Management skills to build, sustain, and grow long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and retailers.
- Proven Sales capabilities, including territory management, target achievement, and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Excellent Customer Service skills to address queries, provide product guidance, and ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present products clearly, negotiate, and maintain professional interactions.
- Ability to work in a field-based environment, including regular travel within Bareilly and nearby areas, and manage hybrid work responsibilities.
- Basic understanding of healthcare, wellness, or pharmaceutical products; prior experience in healthcare or FMCG sales is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in using digital tools (e.g., mobile apps, CRM, spreadsheets) for reporting and coordination.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a background in life sciences, commerce, or business is preferred.
