Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Hyderabad, India, for the role of Field Sales Manager. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying potential customers, and building strong client relationships to drive business growth. The Field Sales Manager will conduct product demonstrations, manage presentations, address customer inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing sales forecasts, and achieving target-driven sales objectives

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell medical devices to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (doctors, surgeons, purchase teams)
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain clinical benefits effectively
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, service) for smooth execution
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients
- Travel within the assigned territory for client meetings and business development
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in field sales (medical devices preferred; pharma sales can also be considered)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of hospital sales processes and medical terminology
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred skills:
Experience in handling hospital tenders and institutional sales
Existing network with doctors/hospitals in the assigned region
Ability to conduct product training and presentations
