Role Description

RENGY is seeking a driven and passionate Field Sales Executive for our Solar division. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, conducting sales visits, presenting tailored solar solutions to clients, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships. The role involves identifying market opportunities, collaborating with internal teams for pricing strategies, and ensuring a seamless customer journey. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to the growth of the company and foster an increased adoption of renewable energy solutions.

🌞 About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Solar Consultant / Sales Executive who will act as a revenue owner and ecosystem builder.

This is not just a sales role β€” you’ll be responsible for building both supply and demand in your region by onboarding partners and driving customer conversions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

πŸ”Ή Vendor & Channel Partner Onboarding

  • Identify and onboard local solar vendors (EPC players)
  • Build a strong network of electricians, contractors & dealers
  • Train partners on products, subsidy process (PMSGY), and platform usage

πŸ”Ή Revenue Generation (Core Focus)

  • Own and achieve monthly revenue targets
  • Convert leads through effective pitching & negotiation
  • Drive high conversion rates

πŸ”Ή Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with vendors & partners
  • Ensure partner engagement and retention
  • Act as a single point of contact

πŸ”Ή Lead Generation & Pipeline Building

  • Generate leads via field activities, referrals & local networking
  • Maintain 2–3x pipeline vs targets

πŸ”Ή Site Visits & Customer Consultation

  • Conduct site surveys & feasibility checks
  • Educate customers on solar solutions, savings & subsidies
  • Provide customized proposals

πŸ”Ή Execution & Closure

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle (lead β†’ installation)
  • Coordinate with vendors for smooth execution

πŸ‘€ Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1–5 years experience in Field Sales / B2B / Channel Sales
  • Experience in Solar / Energy / Construction (preferred)
  • Strong local network is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation & relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven and self-motivated
  • Willing to travel extensively
