Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Executive located in Vellore. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and expanding the company’s presence across hotels, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, cafés, cloud kitchens, and retail outlets.
The role includes identifying potential customers, conducting product presentations, achieving sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new leads and acquire customers in Horeca and retail sectors
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Promote frozen and non-frozen food products to potential customers
- Conduct product presentations and explain product benefits
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Prepare sales reports and maintain customer records
- Coordinate with operations and delivery teams for timely service
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution efficiently
- Support marketing and promotional activities to increase brand visibility
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in the food distribution industry
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and convert leads into customers
- Customer-focused mindset with relationship-building skills
- Organized and capable of handling multiple accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Fluency in English and local languages is preferred
