Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Chennai. The Sales Executive will engage with walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and recommend appropriate sanitary fittings and wellness solutions from the company’s portfolio. Responsibilities include presenting product features and benefits, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets. The role involves maintaining attractive product displays, updating product knowledge regularly, and coordinating with the internal team for inventory, delivery, and after-sales support. The Sales Executive will also collect customer feedback and support promotional activities and in-store events.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to convert inquiries into purchases.
- Customer service and relationship-building abilities, including attentive listening and clear, courteous communication.
- Basic product knowledge aptitude, with interest in sanitary ware, wellness products, and sustainability-focused solutions.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or POS systems) for recording and tracking sales.
- Previous experience in retail sales, building materials, sanitary fittings, or home décor is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, including weekends or extended hours based on business requirements.
