Job Title: Field Sales Executive (FSE) – Oil & Gas Vertical
Role Objective
As a Field Sales Executive, you will be the face of Paytm in the field, specifically focusing on expanding our footprint within the Oil & Gas sector (Petrol Pumps, Gas Stations, and associated retail merchants). Your primary goal is to drive the adoption of Paytm’s payment solutions, including QR codes, Soundboxes, and EDC (Swipe) machines.
Key Responsibilities
Merchant Onboarding: Identify and onboard new petrol pump dealers and gas station merchants to the Paytm ecosystem.
Product Deployment: Install and set up Paytm payment products (QR, Soundbox, EDC devices) at merchant locations.
Relationship Management: Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with fuel station managers and owners to ensure Paytm remains their preferred payment partner.
Sales Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for active merchant acquisition and transaction volumes.
Product Education: Educate merchants and their staff on the benefits of using Paytm, including reconciliation, cashback offers, and digital tracking.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities (PhonePe, Google Pay, BharatPe) at fuel stations and provide feedback to the leadership team.
Compliance: Ensure all merchant KYC documentation is accurate and submitted within the required timelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: 10th/12th Pass or Graduate (preferred).
Experience: 0–2 years in Field Sales, FMCG, or Fintech (Freshers with high energy are welcome).
Skills: * Strong communication and persuasion skills.
Basic understanding of digital payments and smartphones.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Mandatory Assets:
Must own a Two-Wheeler with a valid Driving License.
Must possess an Android Smartphone.
Ready for extensive daily local travel (Field-based role).
