Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Field Sales Engineer (FSE) – India. The Field Sales Engineer (FSE) will develop innovative design-wins by aligning customer technical needs with Samtec’s product design and development capabilities. The role focuses on driving sales growth through strong customer engagement and technical selling. The role demands effective communication with clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales with focus on technical design-in opportunities.
- Engage with technology, micro-electronic, and manufacturing customers at multiple levels.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships (internal & external).
- Demonstrate strong organizational and appointment-setting practices.
- Work independently with high self-drive to exceed sales targets.
- Promote Samtec products across the assigned territory.
- Ensure consistent and effective follow-ups.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry.
- Experience in component sales.
- Proficiency in Account Management and building client relationships
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Understanding of the electronics and interconnect solutions industry is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
