This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a fast-growing IoT company and become the face of Yantra 24x7 in your territory. You will be one of the first 5 field sales engineers building a brand-new sales motion- from identifying prospects in CNC machine shops to running product demonstrations, activating pilots, and converting them to paying customers. This is not a passive inside-sales role. You will be on the field every day- visiting industrial estates, talking to shop floor owners and production managers, and solving real manufacturing problems with technology. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting daily field visits to CNC machine shops and industrial estates across the assigned territory (18–30 visits/week)
- Building and maintaining a territory-level prospect database using SIDCO, SIPCOT, DIC directories, and IndiaMART
- Qualifying prospects using Yantra's 7-point scoring framework covering machine count, production volume, OEM supply, and pilot readiness
- Delivering live product demonstrations of Yantra 24x7- covering PMS, QMS, CMS, Andon Board, and HMI modules at customer sites
- Setting up demo edge boxes at prospect locations and walking decision-makers through real-time OEE and machine health dashboards
- Activating 30-day free pilots with qualified prospects and following up to drive conversion to paid subscriptions
- Executing structured weekly beat plans across industrial clusters (Ambattur, Peenya, BHELSIA, CODISSIA belt, etc.) based on the territory assigned
- Maintaining daily CRM entries and sharing visit outcomes via WhatsApp updates to the Regional Sales Manager
- Participating in the Friday pipeline review call and presenting the top 5 active prospects each week
- Coordinating with the Yantra technical team during pilot installations and ensuring smooth customer onboarding
- Tracking and reporting monthly KPIs- prospects identified, demos delivered, pilots activated, and MRR generated
- Representing Yantra 24x7 at MSME clusters, industrial associations (CODISSIA, AIEMA, BHELSIA), and trade networks to generate warm leads
