Role Description The Field Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across partner butcher shops and delivery activities. The role includes coordinating with local vendors, supervising field staff and delivery partners, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring adherence to quality and hygiene standards. This individual will track operational performance, resolve on-ground issues, optimize delivery routes and processes, and implement standard operating procedures. The Field Operations Manager will collaborate closely with customer support and central operations teams to improve service levels, manage inventory flows, and support the rollout of new initiatives in the field. The role also involves regular reporting, training teams on operational best practices, and fostering strong relationships with local business partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong operations management and field supervision skills, including experience handling multi-location or on-ground teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in vendor and stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with local partners and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess skills in process improvement, problem-solving, and basic data analysis to optimize delivery routes, order fulfillment, and service quality.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage daily operational priorities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and frontline staff.
- Relevant experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, food-tech, or retail operations is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, travel locally as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
