About the Role
1GEN Fintech is seeking a highly motivated and execution-oriented Field Operations Intern to join our nanope team in Pune. This position is designed for individuals who possess a strong interest in social innovation and excel in dynamic, on-the-ground operational environments.
This position is focused entirely on field strategy, operational deployment, and real-time execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing our fintech and impact initiatives directly within target communities, ensuring project objectives are met with precision. Key Responsibilities
- On-Ground Deployment & Strategic Action: Lead the end-to-end execution of field campaigns. Responsibilities include deploying 1GEN’s fintech modules and social impact initiatives directly within designated target markets.
- Operational Strategy & Scaling: Analyse field dynamics, community feedback, and demographic data to develop scalable operational frameworks that enhance our reach and efficiency.
- Exceptional Handling & Problem Solving: Serve as the primary point of resolution for ground-level operational exceptions. Identify logistical, technical, or environmental bottlenecks in real time and implement immediate, effective solutions.
- Primary Field Research: Conduct rigorous primary research and market assessments on-site to gather actionable insights, ensuring alignment between central strategies and community needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain professional relationships with local community leaders, institutional partners, and grassroots stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Cross-Functional Reporting: Collaborate closely with central product and strategy teams, translating field metrics and operational outcomes into actionable insights for leadership.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Field Orientation: A strong preference and enthusiasm for fieldwork, mobility, and hands-on operational execution over a traditional office setting.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage unexpected operational challenges calmly and analytically under pressure.
- Professional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and align priorities across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Operational Capabilities: Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for logistics, process compliance, and outcome tracking.
- Education & Experience: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a relevant degree program with less than one year of professional experience. Prior exposure to community development, sustainability projects, or field-based operations is highly advantageous.
