About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Field & Operations Associate who can bridge the gap between on-ground farming realities and technology-driven solutions. This role involves close coordination with farmers, field teams, and internal product/AI teams to ensure accurate data, smooth onboarding, and continuous improvement of our agritech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Farmer Coordination
- Engage with farmers and stakeholders for onboarding and support
- Build trust and ensure consistent communication
- Onboarding & Field Operations
- Onboard farmers and ground teams onto the platform
- Conduct field visits to farms for data validation and engagement
- Data Collection & Management
- Collect and validate data from field visits and secondary sources
- Ensure high-quality datasets for model training
- API Testing & Product Support
- Test platform features in real-world scenarios
- Report issues and collaborate with tech teams
- AI Model Ground Truthing
- Support AI/ML teams with accurate, field-level validation
- Assist in annotations and dataset preparation
- Feedback & Insights
- Gather farmer feedback and convert it into actionable insights
- Help improve product usability and adoption
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Allied Sciences
- 2–3 years of experience in Agriculture, Agritech, or Field Operations
- Strong understanding of farming practices and crop cycles
- Comfortable with field travel and farmer interactions
- Basic understanding of data collection, APIs, or digital tools
- Good communication skills in local language + Hindi/English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI/ML datasets, annotations, or agri-models
- Prior exposure to farmer advisory platforms or agri startups
- Familiarity with weather, crop monitoring, or farm intelligence systems
